Jewelsnake app for iPhone and iPad

You are explorer in Egypt, working on various archaeological sites and repeatedly threatened by dangerous crystalline scarab beetles, which are moving around you on a path in form of a serpent.

Your task is to break up every crystal segments by skillfully inserting additional beetles into groups of three or more same-colored beetles. If you miss the target point, the snake gets longer. If you cannot manage to break up all segments before the snakes head has reached the exit of the level, you have lost.

The game has an enormous potential for addiction and thanks to the international high score list it has a great long-term motivation. There are many bonus elements to provide additional fun. Thus, the "color bomb bug" allows you to destroy all bugs of the same color, the "slow motion bug" reduces the moving speed from the sanke, and so on...
